Northern Society of Chartered Accountants

The Northern Society of Chartered Accountants (NorSCA) represents 4,000 ICAEW members and ACA students working in business and the finance profession across the North East of England, Teeside and Cumbria. We have been assisting businesses in the north of England and producing chartered accountants for over 130 years.

What's on offer

About us

Northern Society started with its inaugural meeting on 31 July 1882 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The Society was established to support and encourage chartered accountants in the north of England to act in the public interest and to enhance their professional knowledge. We aim to both support our ICAEW Chartered Accountant members and ACA students in the north east and Cumbria as well as supporting ICAEW national initiatives. We also aim to represent the views of members in the north east and Cumbria to ICAEW in London.
